Smoothies

Peach Melba Yogurt Smoothie

Ingredients:
·        1 C low-fat plain, Greek yogurt
·        1 C frozen peaches
·        ½ C frozen raspberries
·        1 TBSP honey
·        1 TBSP lemon juice
·        ¼ TSP pure vanilla extract
·        2 TBSP low-fat milk or milk substitute
*For extra boosts feel free to add 1TBSP chia seeds, 1 TBSP ground flaxseed, 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder and/or 1 TBSP extra virgin olive oil.

Instructions: Add the frozen fruit and milk to your blender first as this makes it easier to mix. Then add all the rest of the ingredients. Pour into two glasses and enjoy!


Blueberry Brain Booster Smoothie

Ingredients:
·        1 C frozen blueberries
·        ½ banana
·        ½ C cucumber
·        1 TBSP chia seeds
·        1 C low fat milk or milk substitute

Instructions: Add the frozen fruit and milk to your blender first as this makes it easier to mix. Then add all the rest of the ingredients. Pour into two glasses and enjoy!


Anti-inflammatory/Pain Relief Smoothie

Ingredients:
·        1 rib of celery
·        1 C of cucumber
·        ½ C of pineapple
·        ½ of a lime wedge, peeled
·        1 C coconut water
·        3-5 ice cubes, or to your taste
*For extra relief add 1 TSP glutamine (found at any supplement store).

Instructions: Add everything to the blender (ice first), blend and enjoy!

Rawberry Smoothie

Ingredients:
·        1 rib of celery
·        1 C Kale
·        1 C Strawberries
·        ½ of a lime wedge, peeled
·        1 scoop vanilla whey powder
·        1 C coconut water
·        3-5 ice cubes, or to your taste

Instructions: Add everything to the blender (ice first), blend and enjoy!

Fat Burning Smoothie

Ingredients:
·        4 C strawberries
·        1 C pomegranate juice
·        1 C coconut water
·        Juice of ½ a lemon

Instructions: Add everything to the blender in the order it’s listed. Blend and enjoy!
